Position: Salon Stylist, Commission
All interested candidates should already have Cosmetology License in hand and fill out the form below. Our Salon Manager will follow up with potential candidates to set up an initial assessment.
- In business since 2011, Babydoll Hair Salon is complete with 18 hair styling chairs. The Salon stylists are responsible for providing beauty services such as shampooing, cutting, coloring, scalp treatments, styling hair, waxing, extensions, and men’s cuts. The stylist must also be committed to doing what it takes to meet the company’s retail goals and be an example for fellow stylists. We offer an 8-week training for all new employees and provide regularly scheduled continued education classes.
Specific Responsibilities

Personally deliver beauty services to support the accomplishment of company goals

Provides advice to clients

Apply creative abilities to styling

Schedule client appointments

Maintain client databases and client confidentiality

Ensure compliance with Arizona State Board of Cosmetology applicable health, safety, or hygiene standards.

Demonstrate and sale of retail products and services

Actively attend and participate in Quarterly Stylist Education Classes and Monthly Staff Meetings to ensure consistency and development of the company.

Participate in special projects and/or events

Must be able to analyze clients’ hair and physical features to determine beauty treatment and recommend hair styles

Arrive on time and prepared each day

Compensation
Commissioned Stylists will receive an hourly base pay of State Minimum Wages plus tips during training. After graduating training period, Commissioned Stylists will receive a tiered commission scale from 40% – 50%. Stylists also receive 10% – 12% commission for retail product sales.
