Established in 2011, Babydoll Hair Salon features 10 fully equipped styling chairs. Our Stylists provide a wide range of beauty services, including Haircuts, Custom Coloring, Scalp Treatments, Styling, Waxing, and a variety of Hair Extensions. We encourage our Stylists to offer services that are tailored to their individual strengths and passions. Stylists are also expected to actively support the salon’s retail goals and lead by example within the team.
For New & Growing Stylists: Whether you’re newly licensed or looking to sharpen your skills, we offer an 8-week, structured Stylist Training Program designed to support your growth. Our program provides comprehensive, hands-on training across all services to help you grow your skills, confidence, and a long lasting career in the beauty industry.
Specific Responsibilities

Provide high-quality beauty services in support of salon goals

Consult with clients and offer professional recommendations

Use creativity and skill in all styling services

Maintain accurate client records

Protect client confidentiality at all times

Follow Arizona State Board of Cosmetology health, safety, and hygiene standards

Promote and sell retail products and services

Attend and participate in required education classes and staff meetings

Take part in special projects and salon events as needed

Assess clients’ hair and features to recommend appropriate styles and treatments

Arrive on time, prepared, and professional each day

Compensation
Commissioned Stylists receive an hourly base pay at the state minimum wage, plus tips, during the training period. Upon successful completion of training, stylists transition to a tiered commission structure ranging from 40% to 50%. In addition, stylists earn a retail commission of 10% to 12% on product sales.
